This year 4M and 4K have enjoyed a 14 week project (on one afternoon per week) learning the art of Samba drumming. This can be a very noisy activity (no complaints fron the neighbours yet!) but the tutors are very professional and coach the children into producing a wonderful Samba sound. They not only use drums as the title suggests, but also other musical instruments and part of the experience includes learning traditional Samba rhythms and rhymes.

Samba drumming

i think samba drumming is brilliant i have lots of fun and we play all kinds of different insterments and one of them is a tamberime it is fantastic!!!

IT IS VERY FUN AND GOOD TO LEARN AND THERE ARE LOTS OF SONGS TO LEARN AND IF THATS KNOT ENOUTH YEAR 4M ARE DOING A CLASS ASEMBLY AND THERE WILL BE SAMBA DRUMS.

In samba drumming we play the shackers and i play tabrine. There are lots of things that you can play.We have lots and lots of fun.

Samba drumming is very fun because I play the big Sudoo I like it because you can hear the beat very loud sometime it very very very very very LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Are teacher is Mr Newmen and Mr pepperrole Mr Newmen teah us drumming Mr pepperrole teah us Song and dance (which is all over the world but it is ok)both of them is from braiz.
Samba Druming is very exciting. I learn lods and loads of intruments and they are help us with drumming.
I play a Surdo an it is bril.
The people who teach us is Mr peroni and Mr Newman.They ae fun and king and very cool.
These are some of the intrument we play,Surdo,Ganzers,tambarine and the gogobells.We go to Samba drumming every Thursday,soon we are going to prefome it to the whole school.I love Samba Drumming and i really want to carry on with it.Playing all these introments are really amazing.I only play one intrument.

who teach us the samba druming are called MR Peroni and MR Numon thay are really fun and kind.these are some of the instroments we play surdos,agogobells,Gansers and the tamberims. We go every thursday.Soon we are going to do a performence in front of the school
useing all the instroments.I really like samber druming and i want to carry on with it and hopfully we will. my faviout insroment is a big drum called a surdos and lukely I play one.

my name is zara and samba drumming is realy fun we sing song and play instroments we have agogo bells,sganzas, serdu drums(big and small)and tamberims our teachers are mr peroni and mr numan they are very funny.its good that we all get together and sing funny songs with our names andwe do a register and he sings our names and we sing them back in th same tune we have loads of fun and i look forward to thursdays every week.I realy enjoy samba drumming and both our teachers are great.

Samba drumming is very very fun and ehillarating because you get to play on Brazilian instrment.I play on a small kind of instrment that makes a loud high note.It is very fun learning how to play the instrment because Mr Nuwman techus Samba drumming in a special way.Mr Peroni techs us warm ups witch are very fun.This may be all over the world but it is all right

they made such a huge noise when I was playind the gogo bells I really got in the tune of it.I think that mr peroni and mr newman are really nice.

I play the kasher and we somtimes we play fast beats.

Seth plays a beat and then we have to play it,and we learn different songs.
